Sewing
This week we ventured into the world of cross stitch. It was a bit
tricky but we got there. Well done everyone!

Golden time sewing with Mrs Clark, Mrs Binns and Mrs Card
In week one, we made birds by folding over a circle of fabric (right
sides together) and used a running stitch around the curved edge. Then
we turned the fabric out the right way, added a beak and stuffed with
toy stuffing. Next we sewed up the gap, and added a wing in a
contrasting fabric.
In weeks two and three we made beaded book marks
by sewing embroidery thread onto a special fabric called Binca.

Creative Construction!
